Wong Solo Taman Dagang (Ayam Bakar & Ayam Penyet)

ABOUT US

This restaurant is famously known for its ayam bakar (roast chicken) & ayam penyet (chicken penyet). The menu originally comes from Surakarta (also known as Solo), Indonesia.

Beside the delicious food being served in this restaurant, it has a unique decoration like a countryside theme. There are two types of seating you can choose from, either a normal sitting or Japanese style sitting. Both are so relaxing.

The set menu comes with meat, rice, side dishes and a bottle of mineral water. For meat, you can choose either ayam goreng (fried chicken), ayam bakar (roast chicken), empal sapi (beef) or ikan kembung (grilled fish). In addition, side dishes come with different varieties such as tempe (Indonesian fermented soybeans), tauhu goreng (fried beancurd), salad, cucumber and terung berlado (Eggplant cook with green or red chili).

• The price of one set is around RM 12.60. However, if the meat selection is empal sapi, the price of one set will be RM 17.75.

Besides the set menu, they also have ala-carte menu such as gado-gado (Indonesian Salad), nasi goreng (fried rice), siakap tiga rasa (Thai-Malay sweet, sour & spicy fish ), cap cay or cap cai (stir-fried vegetables), sup ekor (oxtail soup ), sup ayam ( chicken soup ), chicken wings and others.

• The most convenient way is to take a GrabCar from our hotel and drop off at the restaurant. The fare is around RM 11 per journey depending on the traffic.
