Restoran Win Heng Seng (永兴城茶室)

Have you ever had trouble thinking what meals to take when you just woke up in the morning?

Well, you should definitely head to one of the local crowded Non-Halal Kopitiam, Restoran Win Heng Seng (永兴城茶室). It is a restaurant with different food stalls, located at Jalan Imbi and less than 3-minutes walk from InnB Park Hotel. The operating hour is between 6am to 3pm.

From the outside of the shop, you could smell the aroma of different cuisine dishes including our national hero dish (Nasi Lemak), the well known Pork Ball Noodle, Char Kway Teow, Mini Egg Tart and Etc. Besides that, you may try local drinks such as Kopi O, teh O and Milo Ais.

All food is generally between MYR 7 to MYR 15 excluding beverages. 

Nasi Lemak

Nasi Lemak is one of Malaysian National Foods you must try. Traditionally, it consists of rice (cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf), Sambal (Hot Spicy Sauce), fresh cucumber slices, ikan bilis (small fried anchovies),roasted peanuts, and hard-boiled or fried egg. It can also be served with additional protein dishes like fried chicken, curry chicken, rendang beef and etc.

Pork Ball Noodle

Another well known dish served in this Kopitiam is Pork Ball Noodle. You have the option of dry or non-dry noodles. Both will be served pork-mince, pork balls and chinese black sausage. The broth is made from pork bones and has been cooked for a few hours before it is served in front of customers. This dish will always be in the recommended list.

Char Kway Teow

Char Kway Teow (also known as stirred fried flat rice noodle) is a one of the popular dishes in Southeast Asia. Typically, different states will have different styles of stir frying it. However, basic ingredients you will find in Char Kway Teow are flat rice noodle, chinese red sausages, clams meat, bean sprouts, fish paste and finishes up with spicy chili sauce. 

Mini Egg Tart

A freshly baked Golden Mini Egg Tart is a must-try appetite or dessert at Jalan Imbi. It is crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, it tastes sweet and succulent. This cute pastry will not be missed out if you pass by Imbi Street.
